Everything about my experience staying at Aori Guesthouse was amazing. Panagiotis was truly the best host. Always very responsive and helpful with whatever we needed. The place is just as shown in the photos, with a beautiful terrace and all the amenities that one could need. It was very useful to have a washing machine available to use. My friends and I had a very comfortable stay here and if I ever come back to Hydra, I would definitely stay here again. I would advise future guests to ask for two keys right away, as the electricity is operated by a key card, and if you want to put the laundry on while going out to explore, you can only do so if you have a second key.

My mom had the coffee, my little brother had the melon & I had the white wine. All while enjoying a delicious piece of baklava we'd ordered from one of the local bakeries. =) But the winner here is definitely that remarkable display you get from the top balcony of the house. I mean - WOW! The picturesque port of Hydra, the scenic sunset right before dusk, the shimmering stars at night...doesn't matter the time of day, you'll always have a breathtaking view from up there, even if you're inside the house looking through the windows from the couch or while lying in bed! Photos could never do this scene any justice.

The hosts are extremely kind: They contacted us to inform us about an upcoming ferry strike. We were picked up at the port, and Giorgos helped us with the luggage and shared many recommendations with us. The wine, as well as the coffee and the breakfast for the first morning were such a pleasant surprise. We loved our stay and would love to return!
