There are plenty of great places to eat and have a drink, but it’s definitely not the place to relax or find some peace and quiet! The area is often noisy, with lots of young people (both locals and tourists), especially in the evening and at night. St Julians was lovely.
St Julians was lovely. We weren't sure what to expect as after we had booked we found differing of opinions on the place but it wasn't at all bad. There was one street that was loud and full of bars and younger people but really wasn't an issue and could very easily be avoided if that is not for you. For those who would like to rest and spend the night in peacefull silent - not so good choice because the music outside the hotel is quite loud and lasts until 4-6am.
