Self service bar by the 2nd pool is fabulous. Breakfast and dinner switch up and they’re very good, the cafe has great food as well. All the staff are very friendly. Untapped rum punch. This is an eating and drinking hotel 100%. Huge comfortable suites with a nice patio and great bathroom. I recommend anyone stay for the weekend at least. Great views.

Brutus was so entertaining and was so personable. Jade is so hard working and always accommodating the guests. The room and whole resort was very clean. The restaurant staff very nice. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Berry made the best chocolate martinis. The people at the beach were very accommodating.

Keith was an amazing host as we only had one night after a much delayed flight. He set us up with an amazing driver who got us to the room and returned us to the airport the next morning. The view from our balcony and short morning walk to the beach through the beautiful garden on property were all fine touches to our experience.

    If you want to get around to other islands and Gros Islet Street Party, make sure you negotiate the price for a round trip. Make SURE you emphasize round trip. Some taxi men are so money hungry and will give you a price of round trip, but then try and tell you they meant one way. DON'T let them do that. Get clear clarification for your round trip.

    Castries is a harsh city. Not violet.

    Castries is a harsh city. Not violet. But difficult to spend time in. It's not setup for tourists who are not in a resort or on a cruise. There are very few sit-down atmospheric restaurants and bars. It's a city for the locals and its a poor community. Everyone I met was very nice and friendly. They are wonderful people. But it's not what you might call 'charming'. The roads and traffic are a nightmare and a day here is enough. Rodney Bay is a much more vacation friendly place. I mostly enjoyed my stay here, but be prepared for confronting the results of colonial abuse and corruption. Frankly the locals are demonstrating a high degree of humility, love and forgiveness despite what our western ancestors have done to them, and are still doing. I learned something very important about western entitlement by staying here.

    Castries town centre is charming with a nice market and...

    Castries town centre is charming with a nice market and several excellent restaurants. People of St.Lucia are really friendly and always happy to help you out. There are plenty of shops stocking local and some international goods, especially the shops on-route to Rodney Bay. Choc beach near Castries was beautiful, clean & quiet with very calm sea waves. Excellent for swimming including children. We found the beach to be very quiet all day long with only a handful of people passing by, so ideal for sunbathing too. The Sunsets are magical.

    I enjoyed the Cacoa Chocolate Factory and the chocolate. The mud bath; the water falls the botanical gardens and the Piton mountains. It’s mountainous which makes for very beautiful views of the island.

    I enjoyed Castries.

    I enjoyed Castries. Getting around is an adventure - coming from a place where we drive on the other side of the road. It's not difficult to adjust. The people, in general, are mostly friendly. Except for restaurants, no one takes larger bills and the banks close early. The food was great everywhere we went and it's a beautiful island! I'll certainly vacation here again!

The Castries Market is a must-visit, brimming with vibrant colors and local flavors. The warmth and friendliness of the locals truly stand out, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Exploring the city's cultural landmarks and enjoying its delicious cuisine added to our wonderful experience.     This place is especially welcoming the host is amazingly friendly and accommodation, place is very safe with bright lights at night and lots of cameras for safety ,also has a bar on site so you can enjoy the amazing view of castries as well, the host also provided a lot of cooking items including bottled water which is hard to find when staying at apartments usally you get nothing ,will definitely stay there again

    Bel Jou was made for us by the staff, who were consistently helpful, smart and kind. The food in the buffet was authentic and changed regularly and we found it nutritious, balanced and fun. The Wifi was excellent. Castries is an excellent location for the north of the island. The hotel gardens are beautiful. The hotel entertainments were good. The gym is very good for running weights and floor space.

    The Marvey's place is great there is it in a calm and nice area. Room is clean and the host is very kind. I appreciate it a lot. There are small beach down but not simple to access to it. But nice spot for diving 10 minutes from town center with bus to Castries
