As this is my 4th time staying here and would not stay anywhere else, again I was pleased to see how all staff within the hotel go above and beyond to cater for their guests needs. Check in was a breeze, staff polite friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and a good size. Housekeeping staff went out there way to help when I needed a bath mat for my elderly mother. Breakfast is worth the money, plenty to choose from and again staff cannot do enough to help. We had an early start for a day trip and staff kindly arranged a taxi for us. On the day we checked out as we had a late flight we recieved complimentary drinks and staff went out there way to come over and chat. I have stayed in many hotels in the UK and have never recieved this level of customer service. I would highly recommend this hotel. The 3arena is directly opposite, Luas ( metro) service just outside hotel and €5.40 for an all day ticket. 20-minute walk to city centre.

FAQs about hotels in Dublin

Great History, Greenery and Pubs

Dublin is home to more than a quarter of the entire Republic of Ireland’s population and was originally founded as a Viking settlement. A lot has changed from those Viking days, and Dublin is now famous for its literary history and the most green-spaces of any other European capital, making Dublin a real Irish gem.

Dublin Castle is at the heart of the city's history and Trinity College holds the renowned Book of Kells, a beautifully illustrated manuscript from circa 800 AD. The Ha’penny Bridge is the city’s most photographed landmark and the statue of Molly Malone celebrates the heroine of Dublin’s unofficial anthem.

Dublin is home to many important literary figures including Oscar Wilde, William Yeats, Samuel Beckett and George Bernard Shaw. As the famous location of James Joyce’s “Ulysses”, the city offers tours tracing the protagonist’s footsteps.

Being one of the most youthful European cities, Dublin has a vibrant nightlife scene with the popular Temple Bar area and plenty of bars and pubs, which invite you to stay out until the wee hours of the morning.

The Dublin Airport is the gateway to your Irish holiday, so whether you’re looking for a stylish hotel, a self-catering apartment or a trendy hostel, Booking.com has a perfect deal for your Dublin trip.

I really enjoyed in the Dublin city.

I really enjoyed in the Dublin city. The guided tour of Trinity College, the Riverdance show at the Gaiety Theatre and the visit to the EPIC Museum – the tickets are worth every penny. The city’s vibrant streets and lively pubs add to its charm. Temple Bar area is great for day and nightlife, but it’s also worth exploring other parts of the city and trying locally brewed craft beer. The people are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the overall vibe of the city is relaxed and full of positive energy. The visits to the Guinness Storehouse and Dublin Castle were below expectations considering the ticket price.

Vibrant city with lots of night life. Reservations in special bars and restaurants necessary. Lots of museums and art gallery, some musems free of charge, other needed pre-booked tickets and were always booked out (Trinity Library). Cathedrals all did cost entry (we did not enter). Ideal as a start and end for an Ireland round tour.

Apart from the rats and faces in places without public toilets and war in the North it was mindblowingly fabulous. I especially enjoyed the proudness of re emerging Irish language , culture and colonial resistance which has been sanitized.

We love Indian food and were very impressed with the Spice India restaurant at 4/5 Stonybatter, which is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Booking online or by telephone is often essential. Walsh's Pub - next to the restaurant - is a nice place for an aperitif before dining.

Good location slightly away from the busier city centre but easily walkable (20-30 mins) to most things, including many of the Dublin tourist spots. Lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants close by. Top floor room had view to the the Guinness brewery and distant green hills. Hotel was modern and clean and slightly New York-style arty. Staff were friendly and everything was really efficient, including parking (hotel offers reasonable discount to park in multi-storey round the corner).

The hotel is very well located in the city centre. The room (the rooms to be more precise as it was mostly a two-room apartment with 2 WC-shower) was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and willing to assist in every way they were asked. Highly recommended if you want to spend some time in Dublin!
