I liked the coziness and family feel of the island. It was accessible and we felt safe. We were able to rent a 4-wheeler to drive around the whole island and the sights were beautiful. I must say I haven't seen so many motobikes in one place in all my life, but they knew what they were doing and it seem to ease the traffic. Tiny island purely for the benefit of tourism. Large modern shopping area in the centre of town which, for some reason, sells mainly perfumery and make up. A variety of shops would be better all round. Several restaurants which sell mainly fish dishes. You don't have to travel far to witness the poverty in stark contrast to the tourist centre. If you're looking for crystal-clear water, stunning nature, and vibrant sea life, you'll love this place! However, the urban area is disappointing and poorly maintained. The streets and sidewalks have many potholes, some of which can be dangerous. If you're looking for tourist attractions or activities beyond the beach, options are limited. That being said, a motorbike tour around the island is highly recommended—the landscapes are gorgeous!
