Kelowna has nice scenery, but everything else was a hassle. Parking is a nightmare — I got a ticket despite following the signs, and finding legal parking was stressful and unclear. Everything felt overpriced and inconvenient. For a small city, it lacked the charm or hospitality I expected. Not sure I’d return anytime soon.Guest review byPauloUnited States - 6.0
POOR traffic management.
POOR traffic management. Overcrowded streets, wait through lights. Noisy. Poor street signage. Conducted main reason for trip but did not stop into retail or restaurants because of too much traffic and inability to make turns because of cement medians down the middle of the roads. Sure the medians reduce accidents but they add to driver frustration. If you are unfamiliar with the city it's a nightmare. Won't be back for leisure visit anytime soon. There are many conversations among the staff, and the people staying in Kelowna sharing how and where to get to places, and experiencing about interests. The Bus drivers are very helpful in accommodating people in which buses/ bus numbers to take to their destination. There are plenty areas for walking/ hiking. Knox Mtn. is great and there are different elevations for all. There are specialty foods in abundance around downtown etc. and the restaurants at UBC are very tasty. Kelowna is an awesome place
Kelowna is an awesome place The Cultural District is a must go with many attractions and great food for all pockets Driving around the city is easy and parking rules are friendly as speed is (most avenues, streets are 60km) Great parks and beaches to enjoy a picnic or bbq People are kind and helpful everywhere and they all seem very happy to live there and I wish too I could live there as the climate is warm and dry unlike Raincouver From the Fraser Valley we took hwy 3 which is a bit longer but the scenery along the hwy is majestic... when driving back the hwy 5 is faster but be careful with potholes as they are big and dangerous to your suspension Ah and gas prices are way cheaper than cities in tue west of the provinceGuest review byMariaCanada
