I love the opportunity that you can freely swim in the sea in town. I went on a tour around the island and saw some great places. I visited Rincon twice and had dinner at a Creole restaurant. The shore diving is terrific, lots of well marked entries and a ton of different sites. There are plenty of sites with easy to slightly difficult entries so there's something for everyone. There's lots of night life as well as being conveniently located to everything you need to enjoy your stay, as well as anything you'd like to see on the island. Good place to sit back and relax. Not much to do if you don't dive or snorkel. Plenty of restaurants, most don't open until 5 or after. Great place to rent a car to drive the island. Not a lot of traffic outside the city.Guest review byPenney - 8.0

Easy to get to from NYC, no hassle at airport. Snorkeling off the shore -- some places a little tricky to get into, but others quite reasonable. Low key, a personal preference of ours. Littered with flamingos....what a treat. Food was fine -- nothing fabulous. Except the Kite City Wagon at Te Ame beach which has a terrific tuna burger. The national park is lovely, but you need to get a truck to do it on your own. Roads are challenging.Guest review byMartheUnited States

It’s quiet compared with the busy downtown places, but still quite accessible to all facilities/supermarkets if you rent a car. The room - we had a free upgrade to 2-bedroom suite - is huge and superb. We loved the kitchen and cooked most of our meals there. Staff are super friendly and helpful.
