The room is big and clean, with a comfortable big bed - I was able to sleep very well. Breakfast was not bad, but mostly Asian food - no scrambled eggs and pancakes like breakfast (which is not a negative thing, just an observation).

    Walk down to the river jetties and take a boat ride. Best time 4-6pm. No need to book. See the long nosed monkeys, crocodiles and other wildlife in the rainforest. 1 hour tour cost $35. Amazing adventure not to be missed.

    Beautiful, clean, peaceful country with lovely people. Everything is closeby for a quick tourist visit to mosques, palace, night market and mall. I would love to go back again for an overnight stop over, only because Royal Brunei is an outstanding airline. Very easy to navigate as its a small airport, small city, no traffic. I was respectful with their custom when I opened my wine which I bought from my previous destination, you can drink wine - you just have to bring your own as they don't sell alcohol in Brunei.

    -The Ulu Temburong National Park is excellent!

    -The Ulu Temburong National Park is excellent! I went on a one-day tour there and did the boating, rafting, hiking, and climbing up to 6 observation towers (43 to 58 meters tall) to enjoy a fantastic view seeing the canopy and the horizon. -The Brunei River tour is great too! I saw the mangrove forest and a few proboscis monkeys. Also surprisingly, I saw a crocodile swimming in the river, even just a very short time for 2, 3 minutes. Thanks a lot to the boat driver guide. -The water village is a first-time experience for me. I stayed for 2 nights there. It's pretty nice.

    Different tourists have different tastes and preferences, hence my wonderful experiences of BSB may not be the same as that of others. But given the cost of my recent visit to BSB, I must say that it is like a "province" of Singapore -- with wide, landscaped roadways, generally clean points of interests, and sparsely populated (because of Ramadan?). We did have a good time!

    I love Bandar Seri Begawan.

    I love Bandar Seri Begawan. It has been my ancestors' place of origin, of course, but that is not the only reason. The reasons are attractive places located at the heart of the city like Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque and Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien Park. Foods also can be found easily at the city at affordable price in Brunei dollar/ringgit.

    Not a usual place for travellers, but once you're there you're in awe of the natural beauty and beautiful architecture of the country. It is a good place to travel to for a short trip of up to 4 days.

    The airport transfer. Both drivers are helpful. We got out of the gate more than an hour late due to delay in immigration clearance. The driver waited for us. The hotel is quite accommodating when we request to keep 1 room for late check out. $10/hr. Prices of food are good value but so are the rest of Brunei. There are couple of small plazas and places to eat within walking distance. Despite the Hari Raya public holiday, we managed to find somewhere open for business.

    This is a truly exceptional place and by far the best place you can stay during your visit to Brunei. The hostess is kind and very helpful and great company. The location of the lodge itself makes is a really unique experience. The lodge is located on the edge of Kampong Ayer, the village on the water, and can only be accessed by taking one of the many boats. Don’t forget to go for dinner in the Kampong and explore the village on foot!

    Super convenient location, walking distance to restaurants and a supermarket early next door. Highly recommend the river tour for BND15pp. It’s an awesome way to see the Water Village, bridges, different views of mosques and we even saw a proboscis monkey! The staff are very kind, and the breakfast buffet was refreshingly Bruneian, which was very tasty.

    all they have free airport transfer both ways free pick up and drop off 3 times a day to mosque to shopping mall night market the breakfast okey but you have an egg station for 40 dollars around 29 usd they drop you in empire hotel lovely place
