Situated in Miyoshi, 37 km from Tsurugi-san Chairlift, Iya Kankou Ryokan features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Free WiFi is at guests' disposal. I stayed at the Ryokan which run by amazingly heartwarming family for 3 nights! It was soooooo memorable! The great Grandma, Deguchi san, such a cute and kind person and she takes care about everything including my plan at The Valley! She and her son (Kazuya san, he used to be a chef manager.) cook so delicious meals every single day with a different menu for dinner, it was sooooo delicious!! I really enjoyed chatting with other guests from over the world and it was very fun! My room and entire the accommodation was super clean! The location is perfect for looking around the vine bridge, there are several public bus services which run every 1 hour between Oboke station and the Kazurabashi. They offered a special discount for the nearest Onsen, called Hotel Kazurabashi Onsen which was so nice and plus point! (15 mins walks from the Ryokan.) There are only 5 rooms at the accommodation so book well beforehand to have such nice experience from the locals!! I really highly recommend here if visiting the Iya valley and will definitely come back to see the lovely family again in the near future for sure! Thank you very very much for the great experience and nice stay!! Everything, meals, atmosphere and staff are over 10 points, 100 of 10!!!

Located in Uinouchi, Next Chapter - Guesthouse - Kito features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi. Everything! The house is beautifully designed and we loved that it's different than most Japanese guest houses. It's lovely to have such a modern and cozy concept in a small town, away from the crowds. There is actually a lot of charm in the town and it was one of our favorite stops on a month-long trip to Japan. That is also because of Alrik, who manages the property. He was so kind, hospitable, and friendly! We felt welcomed as friends, not just hotel guests. He did everything we could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a beautiful forest around, the view from the top of the town is lovely, so is the walk by the river and sunset. The Shinto shrine was such a special experience too! Thank you, Alrik and Next Chapter for this beautiful stay! We will come back to the area just to visit the guest house again, especially if Alrik is still running it!

Amazing location by the beach with a beautiful view from the room and the common area. Nice Japanese style room with comfy futon. Very nice owner ! Fully equipped kitchen to prepare your meals.

Everything was perfect! Free parking. Variety of amenities, not to mention 3 different pairs of shampoo and conditioner. There was also free laundry detergent, rice, and cooking utensils/supplies. The place was also cozy and homey, great for a weekend getaway.

If you want a traditional Ryokan, and ran by a beautiful family and staff. The staff were just so helpful and welcoming. We wanted traditional when we picked this Ryokan, and it didn’t disappoint. From the Japanese dinner which was so plentiful and everything just tasted so good. I cannot say enough about staying in the Ivy Valley. There is an indoor and outdoor guest shared onsen with all facilities and then you have a modern bathroom with a huge bathtub in your room. The vine bridge is a stones throw away.

ArudenaiDay, a property with a garden, is situated in Tokushima, 3.2 km from Awa-Odori Community Hall, 3.7 km from Asty Tokushima, as well as 4.4 km from Sako Station. Very clean and well equipped with various amenities. The owner, Chika has amazing taste and you can see this in every aspect in the home. Everything was very well laid out and the furniture layouts made the stay very comfortable. My wife and kids loved Chika’s tea cup and tea collection. She has a booklet for people who stayed to write in so be sure to work on that.
