The apartment has so much room for either one or two people and it was spotless, with a great kitchen space too. I only spent one night there but I would recommend it for a much longer stay. It's pretty close to the airport, at a 30-minute walking distance if you don't have transport, and you can carry your own luggage there as the road leading to it has a sidewalk, you can check it on Google Maps. Good communication by the owner also.

Maria (the host) was AMAZING- we will definitely be going back!

Maria's house is at a great location - in the centre of Sao Miguel, 5 minutes from the airport and easy reach of the highlights of the island. We had an ocean view and the bed was very comfortable. To get breakfast was also what we enjoyed, so we just got up, had breakfast and decided what direction to go. Maria is an exceptional host, we enjoyed her hospitality.
