Hotel Garcas is located in the small town of Lavacolla, 10 km from the centre of Santiago de Compostela. It offers a traditional Galician restaurant with a covered terrace. A good hotel with a good restaurant and friendly staff. The only hotel within walking distance of the airport (about a mile from the hotel to terminal). Of course taxis or buses are available also. I did walk, there is a path the last 1/2 mile that takes you to the baggage level. Up one level and you are at ticketing/departures. A nice airport BTW.

Located 10 km from Santiago de Compostela, this hotel is situated along the famous pilgrimage route and there is a playground for the kids in the hotels garden. Such a lovely hotel. We needed to stay close to the airport since our flight landed really late and I honestly wished we stayed longer there. Great staff, lovely room and amazing views.

The lady who welcomed us was very, very helpful. We were doing the Way of Saint James' (Camino de Santiago) northern route and we were pleasnly surprised by the Pensión. She provide us with all the info necessary for getting somenting to eat (either bar/restaurant or the local shop). The little garden in the back is very pleasant and you can eat al fresco.
