Please fix this! I specifically set it in the settings (on Android) so that no websites open in apps. And yet it keeps asking me whether to open them! There’s no option to "don’t ask again".

Here’s an example: I have two accounts on AliExpress — one is logged into the app, the other in the web browser! And I absolutely don’t want it to open in the app, because what for???

Please fix it so that when I have it set in the settings not to open in the app, it really doesn’t open — and doesn’t keep asking like an idiot!?

How to whitelist a site to give location access? I have gone to the Location tab in settings, but it will not allow me to enter a URL/domain that I want to whitelist.

I had to reset Firefox because of a hack to my FB account. I've recreated all of the icons I use but Gmail won't add since Google doesn't think my desktop is one of my devices. I can receive Gmail if I use Chrome. I've tried reaching Google by leaving messages @ the Freemont office in Seattle but thought maybe Mozilla had an answer. Thanks for listening.

Firefox is asking for stored payment method information for the user "Carla Clarke" to allow me to sign up for Astrodienst (an Astrology Site). I keep a paper file for a my passwords, but I can't find one for Firefox.

I made the mistake to following Mozilla's advice on why my tabs stopped coming back after I closed out, despite the fact that I had that selected in my settings. Now I'm stuck with an "Old Firefox Data" folder on my desktop and I can't remove it because I need administrator privileges -- but it's my personal PC. WTF

So, I was downloading some Patreon stuff and Patreon isnt well optimized for browsing older posts. When you have to load multiple more pages dating backwards it slows down the Firefox quite a lot, pretty much to the point when the Firefox reach non-responding state in worst cases.

But luckily for me Patreon worked fine for me tonight, just when I was closing the Firefox, it took like 5 seconds for it to close.

I spent some short time by responding messages on Steam and Discord and then I started new Firefox window, this time I went on Netflix and when the page loaded my monitor went black and then after like few seconds it returned back with "Displayport" message on the top left corner.

When I checked Event viewer, there is nothing at all. When I checked about:crashes, there is also nothing.

Any idea what was that and how to prevent that?

this is the third time i have asked this. I love firefox but your latest updates have slowed down firefox and does things on its own like it has Ai. Google changes like this too and I will no longer us google. if nothing else let me download an older firefox. Rich Stonehouse

I use Proton Pass to manage my passwords. This option has mysteriously vanished from available options. Should I simply stop using Firefox? It's not working very well since I have to fight to enter an updated password. I'm MORE THAN disappointed to learn no one is available too help!!!

I just lost all of my bookmarks and am unable to add new bookmarks. I am not aware that I made any changes, nor was anyone else using this computer, they simply disappeared. When I log into a familiar site and hit add bookmark, nothing happens. Also, if I go to manage bookmarks and attempt to manually add the book mark it doesn't work. Any suggestions? I prefer to use Firefox as my browser, but will have to switch if I can't resolve this!

When i browse for anything that has some location, like a restaurant, city, or whatever, there is seemingly no way to access google maps for that site from the page. There used to be mutliple ways to go to google maps for that thing either by a "map" text button in the menu under the search bar, or by clicking the thumbnail of tha map you can see in the right of my example. now i have to go specifically search for maps, then search again for the thing there. Why did you make these changes? and will you ever revert/find a solution for this? Its actually such an annoyance for me as much of the searching i do is for looking up places. and related information about those places. If i am missing some functionality or alternative please let me know.

YouTube videos encoded at 60 frames per second are extremely choppy in Firefox only. Microsoft Edge plays the same videos perfectly.

I have deleted my profile and reinstalled Firefox, updated graphics driver to the latest version, and toggled hardware acceleration on and off. Nothing helps.

I am facing this issue that When I am using google map on firefox on PC, change to street view by dropping a orange person mark. The map changes to satellite view by mouse scroll down a couple of times automatically. How can I avoid to changing? It doesn't happen on Chrome, Edge and even Brave.

Hello everybody, I'm facing some problems with the camera settings: when accessing vcall sites (e. g. zoom or google meet) they don't ask permissions for the camera, it looks like I have no camera installed, which is not true, of course, and in fact with Ungoogled Chromium everything works fine. When trying to add manually the sites in the whitelist nothing happens, they're simply ignored. On the other side, the microphone settings work properly. Thanks in advance for any support.

Firefox version 140.0.4 running on Fedora 42 KDE

Last week I lost all of my bookmarks. It was suggested to log back in and that retrieved my bookmarks in the tool bar. When I click on the black star in browser to save a new bookmark none of my bookmarks show up? Why are they in my tool bar but missing from the save bookmark option? Marty

I have logged into my account on three computers: personal linux, personal windows, and work. Previously, I could easily disable the extension on one computer and it continued to work on others. Now, when the "Plasma integrations" extension is disabled on Windows computers, it is also disabled on linux. If I disable some extensions on my work computer, it will also be disabled on my personal computers. If I disable extension synchronization on my work computer, it will also be disabled on others. That is, if I log in to my account on a new device, I will have to manually install extensions. Question: How can I return to the old behavior, when it was possible to disable installed extensions on only one device?

I recently installed Firefox for security reasons, but I now realize it might be not better than other browsers... I had a (good) number of tabs opened in 12 Simple Tab Groups, which were opening all right everytime I restarted my computer. But today, Firefox opened and oh, all my tabs have disappeared ! All 12 Simple Tab Groups are empty. In the Recently Closed Tabs in History, I only could find and reopen 26 tabs - a very small part of the tabs I had... Please, tell me if there is a solution to recover all my tabs. Is the problem with Firefox or with the Simple Tab extension?

I have a Snowflake add-on, which requires WebRTC for connections. But WebRTC is not permanently active in my Firefox browser. See image. I activate WebRTC by toggling the config variable media.peerconnection.enabled into 'true' and the add-on works. For some time, only! After a couple of days it is back to 'WebRTC not detected'. What is wrong?
