Remove non-explicit images of minors from Google search results

If you’re under 18, Google removes images of you at your request. We may make an exception when an image is newsworthy or a matter of public interest.

Important: While we can remove images from Google search results, we can’t remove them from the source website that hosts it. If you want it removed from the source, contact the owner of the website.

Learn what to know when you request removal of images of minors

If you’re the subject of the content, you or a representative, like a parent or relative, can start a request.

We’ll consider removing content when it meets all these requirements:

  • Your submission only contains image URLs.
    • URLs of webpages with both text and images aren’t eligible for removal under this policy.
  • The image depicts an individual who is under 18, or who has passed away before the age of 18.
  • You’re the person in the image.
  • The image isn’t from a social media account or a web page that you manage.

When images are removed, they no longer show up in Google Image Search or as thumbnails in any feature in Google Search.

Tip: Anyone can report child sexual abuse imagery.
