On your Business Profile, you might get an option to add the services you offer. If your business offers different types of services, you can put them in groups under the appropriate category to keep things organized. You can also write descriptions and prices for each service. This feature is available at no charge to all businesses that offer services.
How the services editor works
When local customers search on Google for a service you offer, the service might be highlighted on your profile. Customers on the Google Maps app can also find all your services under "Services."
Service businesses can choose from the suggested types of services. For example, plumbers might get "Install faucet" or "Repair toilet" as services they can add. If the type of service wasn't on the list, you can add your own custom services.
Tip: Some custom services aren’t allowed and will be auto-rejected by our system. These include rude words, gibberish, personal info, prices, and phone numbers.
Add your services
- Go to your Business Profile.
- Select Edit services.
- Select the services you want to add.
- Select Save.
Add or edit details about your services
- Go to your Business Profile.
- Select Edit services.
- Select the service you want to edit.
- You can add info such as price and description.
- To remove the service, select Delete service.
- Select Save.
Add additional services
- Go to your Business Profile.
- Select Edit services
Add more services.
- Select the services you want to add.
- If your service isn’t listed and you want to create your own service, select Add custom service.
- Select Save.
Add service categories
- Go to your Business Profile.
- Select Edit services
Add a new business category.
- Enter the business category and select from the available options.
- To add services you offer in that category, select the services you offer or add a custom service.
- Select Save.
