Nordic Capital announces an agreement to acquire BMLL. The investment will be made in close partnership with the management team of BMLL and minority shareholder Optiver, marking a joint commitment to accelerate the company’s next phase of growth. “Leveraging Nordic Capital’s long-standing expertise in capital markets software and data, we’ll work closely with Paul and his team to seek to expand BMLL’s footprint, elevate the product and analytics offering, and scale distribution and partnerships,” said David Samuelson, Nordic Capital Advisors. Santander Corporate & Investment Banking has acted as financial advisor to Zenobē and its sponsors KKR and Infracapital in their raise of a new €325m multicurrency debt facility. The facility is provided in multiple currencies (EUR, DKK, NOK, and SEK) to support Zenobē in expanding their electric bus fleets-as-a-service across the European market. This is a landmark transaction that will allow the incorporation of up to 1,000 electric buses, trucks and chargers, and consolidates Santander Corporate & Investment Banking’s position as a key advisor for the clean-mobility transition.

Erik Hådén, Head of Investor Relations and Macroeconomic Analysis at SEK Svensk Exportkredit (The Swedish Export Credit Corporation), is currently in Washington together with our CEO Magnus Montan for the The World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Annual Meetings, where global financial leaders gather to discuss the state of the world economy. He reflects on the generally positive outlook among banks and market participants:   “I would say it’s almost surprising how incredibly positive the banks are regarding how markets are expected to develop going forward, given the major challenges we still face in terms of government debt, weak growth and unemployment, among other things. Then again, it’s another question whether this optimism serves as a good guide for the future – or a warning signal in itself," says Erik Hådén.   That optimism is in some ways reflected in the IMF’s latest economic report, released earlier this week. The report presents an upward revision of the global growth forecast for 2025, while also warning that escalating trade tensions between the United States and China pose a significant risk to the global economy.   The World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings take place from October 13 to 18.   #AnnualMeetings2025 #IMF #WorldBankGroup

Metsä Board is the leading producer of folding boxboard and white kraftliners in Europe, and the largest producer of coated white kraftliners globally. This successful issue marks Metsä Board’s return to bond market after eight-year hiatus and represents its first-ever green bond issuance.   After three days of broad marketing across the Nordics and Central-Europe, the bond was successfully priced with a coupon of 3.875% and Metsä Board tightened the pricing by 20bps from IPTs to final terms. Metsä Board intends to allocate an amount equal to the net proceeds from the offering of the Notes to finance and refinance of eligible projects in accordance with Metsä Board’s Green Finance Framework dated July 2024.
