Updated: close to walking away. Campaigns are a big element, but the Devs are purposely making it almost impossible to unlock key toons without buying them. Without the toons, the campaign is very limited. The items in the store are way over priced, the monthly pass is expensive and hard to complete leaving paid for rewards unclaimed. Parents be warned before allowing your child to play because of the pay to play/win element is front and center. Good game, bad need to pay.

The game boasts impressive graphics and engaging gameplay; however, the progression system presents certain challenges. Specifically, the acquisition of new characters and teams, coupled with the difficulty in obtaining materials for character and skill advancement, can lead to a plateau. This, in turn, necessitates a greater reliance on in-app purchases to advance beyond the limitations of natural progression.

Honestly this game was truly fun 5 or 6 years ago. Back then players could feel that the designers actually cared. That time has passed unfortunately. The recent developers have made a poor decision to turn this game into a PAY to PLAY. It's really sad because it used to be so good. They have simply stopped making any player friendly/user friendly improvements focusing more on PAY to Play events. The game forces you to aquire the pre-designed Teams or you will not be competitive in ANY event.
