  • Let's welcome our next Women Go Tech mentor Anna Kopertowska with over 7 years of experience as a web developer–ranging from small companies to large corporations–Anna brings not only deep technical expertise but also a strong passion for mentorship and empowering women in tech. She has worked on diverse projects in e commerce and banking, and through it all, she’s learned that the most valuable skills aren’t always the most obvious. Her past mentorship experience includes the DareIT program in Poland, along with supporting junior developers in her teams. “I’ve had the luck to meet some people on my path who were mentors to me, and I want to pay it forward. I hope we’ll keep seeing more and more women in IT, and I’m happy to help make it happen.”  When she’s not coding or mentoring, you’ll likely find her on a walk in the park or diving into a creative fiber art project. [ID: A woman, Anna Kopertowska, poses playfully in front of a realistic cityscape mural that gives the illusion she is hanging off the edge of a skyscraper. She smiles and flashes a peace sign, wearing glasses and a white shirt with cherry patterns. In the foreground, an overlay card introduces her as a mentor for "Women Go Tech." Her role includes Front-end Developer and Mentor. Traits listed are collaborative, adaptable, and empathetic. Side skills include crocheting, writing, and nature photography. A status badge marks her as an "Active WGT Mentor."]

  • Talsi, tech, and the freedom to choose your workspace. 💜 Talsi – a town of nine hills, two lakes, and endless calm. It’s where Anna, one of our web developers, sometimes sets up her remote desk – just steps away from forest trails, lakeside cafés, and the quiet charm of local thrift shops. From this peaceful corner of Latvia, Anna is building accessibility features for one of the largest European TV streaming services – proving that meaningful, high-impact tech can grow anywhere. Even in a small town with a view. At our company, we believe great ideas aren’t tied to a single location. Some of us code from city apartments, others from country homes or cabins deep in the woods. What brings us together isn’t geography – it’s a shared mission, regular team days at the office, and the kind of honest collaboration that happens best over good coffee. [ID: A carousel showcasing the town of Talsi, Latvia, through the eyes of a local web developer named Anna.] [ID: Anna stands smiling on a cobblestone street in Talsi, wearing a purple hoodie. • We see the hybrid work model as a way to strengthen culture, boost inclusion, and support performance through trust and flexibility. Here’s why it’s not about returning to the office, but moving forward — together. Lightweight, weather-ready, and built to keep up — this rain jacket and bottle combo is your perfect trail partner. • 🎶 This week, Riga is alive with the energy of the School Youth Song and Dance Festival – where over 38,000 children are bringing tradition to life through folk music and dance. This is the largest number of festival participants in the history of independent Latvia. 🇱🇻 We're honored and inspired to see the next generation shaping this cultural legacy – and even more so knowing that some of our teammates' children are part of it. Whether they're performing or volunteering, they’re helping build something truly meaningful.
