Protecting our community from online scams takes a united front. It was encouraging to put this into action with Hong Kong's financial regulators and the tech and telecom industries, with the launch of the Anti-Scam Consumer Protection Charter 3.0 yesterday. Scams are increasingly sophisticated, with operations across multiple platforms and jurisdictions, often using AI. This reality calls for collaborations to be more borderless and integrated than the threats we face. But AI also gives us an edge in taking the fight to scammers. At Google, our international footprint helps us see and connect global scam patterns, while our leadership in AI provides the tools to analyze these threats at scale. This allows us to move beyond reacting to a single bad ad on one service to identifying and combating bad actors across our ecosystem. It’s a complex challenge, but one I'm confident we can tackle together. Keeping our community safe is fundamental to Google Hong Kong's mission of advancing Hong Kong, together.
