We’re excited to share that Women in Web3 Hong Kong co-founders Melizza Anievas and Lucie Acquaviva are featured in CryptoSlate’s latest article highlighting women making meaningful moves in the Web3 space. The piece explores the ongoing gender gap in crypto, with Melizza responding to the statistic that women in Web3 still earn 46% less than men on average. Lucie reflects on the challenges of navigating leadership in a male-dominated space and the extra effort women often take on to be seen and heard. Both speak openly about the barriers they’ve faced, including bias, lack of mentorship, and the persistence of “bro culture,” but they also highlight the strengths women bring to the table.
