and how'd that work exactly? saw others talking about making a "custom" image, and mounting/changing the logo, image/background files etc. somehow |

You write the necessary changes in the css file for the desired site. This file will be stored locally on your computer in the Firefox browser directory (if you use another browser, this method will not work and you will need an extension) and when you open the site, the browser will "apply" the style from this file to the site. |

Not recommended .. SearXNG is in a constant state of development, which also means that the layout changes ... interventions in the CSS as described here can cause errors in the next update. |

so just installed searxng on docker desktop on my PC, and been looking around for like an hour or so, trying to find a way to customize searxng, but unable to find anything really usefull so far..
just wondering how I would customize the background, logo and fav icon of searxng on docker desktop with the images saved on my PC (the host machine) instead of somewhere in a container of docker desktop.
