This only affects Play 1 downloads, which we do not maintain. The repo for Play 1 is https://github.com/playframework/play1 Seems you can also download the latest Play 1 releases from their GitHub releases: https://github.com/playframework/play1/releases/tag/1.8.0 |

I think we should just remove the links to the Play 1 downloads and refer to the https://github.com/playframework/play1/releases page. |

This is fixed by All links in https://www.playframework.com/releases and https://www.playframework.com/modules now point to ressources at GitHub. |

On the releases page: https://www.playframework.com/releases -- all of the download links are broken with an "Access Denied" error message. I've attached a screenshot of the error message I received.
This does happen on every single download.
