Description
In a lot of species of ferns the presence of Sori in images is an important identifying feature, if possible I would like an annotation field added for the presence of or absence of Sori in order to improve the searchability of observations to aid in identifying fern species and comparing features.
For example Notogrammitis sp and Gleichenia are difficult to identify without the presence of the Sori.
This could apply to all Bryophytes "In mosses, liverworts and hornworts, an unbranched sporophyte produces a single sporangium", to Lycopodiophyta (Clubmosses, Firmosses, Spikemosses and Quillworts) and to Polypodiophyta (all ferns)
Similar to this "Spores" could be an annotation field for Fungi to allow users to indicate if a spore deposite is visible for that species which aids significally in identifying Fungi.
