[REQUIRED] Step 3: Describe the problem

Reconfiguration via Firebase console fails (every time).
Only way to reconfigure the extension is to uninstall it und install it again with the new settings.

Steps to reproduce:

1. reconfigure extension
2. enter new value e.g. for "Paths that contain images you want to resize"
3. click on save

Reconfigure is done on an ubuntu laptop with chrome-browser.

Expected result

• Changes are stores

Actual result

• nothing happens
• if i click safe again then an error message is shown
