I recently bumped firebase BOM from 32.8.1 to 33.16.0. Cloud functions stopped working and kept returning exception UNAUTHORISED.

I played around various BOM versions and found that the last working BOM for cloud function is 33.10.0. Bumping any further starts giving the error.

minSdk = 21 --> 23
