Description
Describe the bug
Opening and closing heynote when flipping across virtual desktops makes it "toss you" back to a certain virtual desktop, which is really the only issue I see in an otherwise absolutely perfect note app.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior, with a few virtual desktops open, such as fullscreen windows:
- Open a code editor, such as VSCode in one fullscreen window
- Open heynote
- Open something in a popup/modal window, for instance Arc-mini if you use the arc broswer (by clicking some link with
⌘+left_click - Close heynote
- Switch to another virtual desktop
- Open heynote and close it again
- You will be thrown back to the virtual desktop heynote was originally closed
Expected behavior
I just want to not be thrown around my desktops/full-screen windows and open/close heynote freely.
Screenshots
I can't provide a screenshot since this would be a video thing, but would be happy to record something if you couldn't reproduce the issue yourself.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS:
MacOS - Version:
Tahoe 26.0.1
Additional context
It's my guess that heynote must have some "memory" of where it was opened or closed, and it somehow indirectly asserts on open/close that it must be where it "thinks it's suppose to be".
