Describe the bug

On Mac, when you have "Show in Dock" disabled, you can no longer hide the app like normal. Selecting "Hide" from the File menu, or using Cmd-H just loses focus, but the app remains visible (and on top).

Maybe this is a restriction of the OS?

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. In settings, toggle off "Show in Dock"
2. Quit the app (just to be sure)
3. Open app and try to hide it -- you can't

Expected behavior

It'd be nice if it could hide normally.
