Dirty Martini Dip
My cousin made a version of this around Christmas time and it was delicious! Each month, I have a book club meeting and this month I decided to make a version of dirty martini dip and serve it in a martini glass. I have to say - this tastes just like a dirty martini, it's impressive! I used vodka in this to get that dirty martini flavor, and I also used blue cheese because I love blue cheese olives in my martinis, but you can eliminate or reduce both of them if you want or need to.
Ingredients
- 8 oz8 oz8 oz Cream Cheese, Full Fat
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 0.5 cup0.5 cup0.5 cup Green Olives
- 0.333 cup0.333 cup0.333 cup Blue Cheese Crumbles
- 1 oz1 oz1 oz Vodka
- 1 oz1 oz1 oz Olive Juice (Green)
- 1 pinch1 pinch1 pinch Maldon Sea Salt Flakes
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Add your olives, vodka and olive juice to a bowl and mix to coat olives. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, add cream cheese, greek yogurt, blue cheese and sea salt.
- Using a hand mixer, blend until ingredients start to combine.
- Using just a tablespoon or two at a time, add the olive juice and vodka mixture from the olives to the dip and blend until dip becomes creamy and smooth.
- Repeat this step until all olive juice and vodka mixture is used.
- Serve in a large martini glass and top with olive oil.
- Keep chilled in the fridge until you're ready to serve.
- Serve with crackers and enjoy.
Notes
You can omit vodka and blue cheese if you don't want them, but they do contribute to the overall taste. I recommend at least reducing them so you still get some of that flavor in your dip, otherwise it will just be cream cheese and yogurt! You can substitute vodka for gin.
