Correction to: International Journal of Computer Assisted Radiology and Surgery (2021) 16:1121–1129 https://doi.org/10.1007/s11548-021-02389-y

The original version of this article unfortunately contained a mistake. In the first paragraph, author noted that:

“[23] reported that a third of THR surgeries are attributed to misdiagnosed or missed cases of DDH, causing significant unnecessary suffering, which highlights the need for improved early diagnosis and effective treatment.”

Unfortunately, author inadvertently mis-attributed this reference to Wenger ([23]) when it should have been to Furnes et al. (https://online.boneandjoint.org.uk/doi/abs/10.1302/0301-620x.83b4.0830579). In addition, Furnes et al.'s finding is more properly described as follows:

Furnes reported that almost 5% of THR surgeries are attributed to congenital dysplasia, and, of these, almost a third occur in patients under 60 years old, which highlights the need for improved early diagnosis and effective treatment.
