Automatically linking Google account to Safari

Hello!

I am working on an enterprise deployment of iPads to a mobile salesforce. Our office uses the Google Suite for email and otherwise, and we don't have a very tech savvy workforce, so we have tried to offload the burden on them by logging them in to the google suite in advance (Chrome for iPadOS, Gmail, etc).

However, we have now found that one of our core business softwares has some Owl errors specifically on Chrome for iPadOS but not on Safari or using a PWA.

Therefore, we are discussing switching to having the salesforce use Safari, however some of our IT Technicians are worried about being inundated with calls of "how do I log into my Google account on Safari?" I am wondering if anyone can think of a way to either provision Google accounts onto Safari via our MDM Hexnode, or if there is something I am missing that could make this easier.

Ultimately I anticipate the answer will be that there is no way to do this, and that we need to train the sales team on logging in. But I would like to see if there are any alternative solutions to this.

Thanks!

You can pre-configure Google accounts on iPads with solutions like Hexnode, which helps with setup, but users will still need to enter their password the first time in Safari, there’s no way to fully skip that due to security. Still, having the accounts set up and using password autofill makes the process much easier for everyone.
