Zip is making moves in Philadelphia. We’re thrilled to announce that we are a partner of the Phillies and the Flyers, bringing fans a more flexible way to shop at Citizens Bank Park and Wells Fargo Center. With the Zip app, customers can use the Zip Lane to skip the line at the New Era Phillies Team Store and get back to the game faster. Across the city this summer, you’ll spot Zip on billboards, bus shelters, radio, cinema ads, and small business storefronts. It’s part of a broader push to meet people where they are and show up in the moments that matter. Loans through Zip are originated by WebBank

It’s time to celebrate the Zipsterversary of Adriane T., who recently marked three game-changing years as a Zipster! Adriane manages the Second Line Compliance Testing and Monitoring function in the US, and also leads our control uplift initiative. Reflecting on her Zipstory, Adriane shared, "One unique opportunity at Zip has been building this function from the ground up; creating internal testing, handling audits, training new team members, and working with our banking partners. It’s work that’s required me to use a lot of independent judgment and shape key processes which have had a direct impact on how we manage risk in the US. Being proactive and open to taking on new challenges has really helped me grow my career at Zip. I’ve always focused on building strong relationships across teams and finding ways to add value beyond my core responsibilities. I’m excited to keep building and evolving our second line compliance program in ways that really support the business. There’s still so much opportunity to grow, take on new challenges, and make a lasting impact." Congratulations on three-mendous years, Adriane! We're delighted to have you on the team.

Our Managing Director and Group CEO Cynthia Scott joined CEO and Founder of Betashares Alex Vynokur and CFO of Bendigo Bank Andrew M. for a panel discussion yesterday titled ‘The Evolving Role of Technology in Financial Services’ hosted by Michael Ginzburg at the 2025 Morgan Stanley Australia Summit. Cynthia spoke about how Zip has leveraged technology from inception to disrupt the point-of-sale credit market and deliver flexible and seamless experiences for customers and merchants. She also highlighted the role AI continues to play at Zip, with a focus on unlocking efficiencies and opportunities across our processes, people and products. Cynthia also touched on recent business performance provided in our May trading update which included an upgrade to Zip’s FY25 cash EBTDA guidance to at least $160 million, underpinned by momentum in both markets, particularly the US which continues to deliver transaction volume growth of over 40% year-on-year.

Please join us in celebrating ANZ Operations Solutions Lead George Joseph's eight-amazing years as a Zipster! George joined us as a casual in the Customer Experience team while completing his studies, and has since taken on roles across our Collections, Product, Engineering and Legal & Compliance teams, now leading Operations Solutions in the ANZ Credit Operations function. He states his career has been full of experiences he could have never imagined when he first started. “In my day to day work, I’ve been fortunate to connect with so many leaders across the business who have opened doors for me. What’s helped me grow and make the most of opportunities across such a wide range of roles has been simple; saying ‘yes!’ Staying open to change, even when new roles have pushed me outside of my comfort zone, has meant that I’ve gained new skills and fresh insight into parts of the business I never could have anticipated. Every Zipster has the chance to make a tangible impact here, not just within Zip, but for our customers and merchants who use the products every day too. Being part of that mission, while continuing to learn, grow, and partner with some of the most talented people I’ve ever met, makes the future here a really exciting one.”

This month we celebrate the Zipsterversary of Celine D. from the Zip US Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team. Reflecting on the first three years of her Zipstory, Celine - our CRM Operations Marketing Manager - says her journey has been a ride full of growth and learning, from the very start! “My three years at Zip have been filled with opportunities to jump into challenges and own solutions. And I’ve always felt empowered by both leaders and peers to take initiative and drive change. I’ve also worked with so many Zipsters across different teams and found that everyone is genuinely invested in leveling each other up. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are second nature here, and this has enabled me to really make an impact beyond my core role, which is something I find unique about working at Zip. I’m excited to keep challenging myself while also supporting the growth of others, just like so many Zipsters have done for me.” Congratulations on your Zipsterversary Celine, keep changing the game!

Happy third Zipsterversary to Sam Cooper, Partner Success and Business Development Specialist. With a focus on our SMB-Mid Market merchants in New Zealand, ‘Coops’ initially joined Zip in the CX team following a successful career in retail. He puts his growth as a Zipster down to the influence of leaders and a culture of empowerment. “I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some great leaders since joining Zip, which has given me the confidence to excel. Another thing that helps me get my best work done is the autonomy in my role, whether that’s the flexibility to work from home or feeling able to offer my unique perspective on how to get the job done. Looking ahead, I'm excited to take on whatever new challenges come my way and as always, I’ll strive to put forward solutions that stand the test of time.” Thanks Coops for all you bring to Team NZ and the broader ZipFam, here’s to continued successes ahead!

March has been a month for celebrating International Women’s Month, with a series of events and initiatives focused on community connection, career growth and personal experiences. From storytelling (hear from three inspiring Zipsters Zae Wilson, Brooke L. and Cassia Gulley via links in the comments below) and highlighting women-owned merchants in the Zip app, to our International Women’s Day panel featuring Group CEO Cynthia Scott and ANZ Chief Product Officer Lauren McCormack, we’re proud to bring together Zipsters and our partners to support and recognise the impact of game-changing women from across Zip and our communities. We’re also excited to be co-hosting an event next week in our Sydney offices alongside Her Tech Circle, focused on innovation and decision-making in leadership. Thanks to all Zipsters and our partners for ‘Marching Forward’, this month and beyond.
