Meet the creator: Founder and CEO David Niemeijer was inspired to devote his life’s work to the development of AAC after his friend was paralysed in a car accident and needed an onscreen keyboard to access his Mac. After a decade of research and close collaboration with AAC users, Proloquo launched in 2022.
