Tasty Travels: Merge Game 9+

Relaxing, Engaging, and a lot of Fun!

While I don’t typically play games- Tasty Travels is one I enjoy because it’s easy and relaxing without compromising how fun and entertaining it is. The few other games I play tend to have a lot of stressors (extreme time limits, very difficult tasks, and a large demand of your time and attention) that they’re not always ideal for relaxing. This game is the opposite of all that - it’s fun and engaging, challenging enough to make it interesting, but still relaxing enough to make it enjoyable. I’m definitely hooked - which surprised me because I’m not usually a fan of merge games. Tasty Travels is my go-to for when I’m ready to tune out, kick back, and have fun.

I want to love this game, I DO love it for about 45 seconds and then it is completely and utterly pointless. This is nothing but a gross, shameless money grab. The greed of the developers is unparalleled. It is physically impossible to complete tasks or challenges when you sometimes have to do OVER TWO THOUSAND MERGES for one single pitiful item that reaps no reward. It is so unbelievably frustrating, it should not take 2-3 business days to complete ONE SINGLE ITEM out of 50 for a challenge, there is next to no hope of earning rewards, there is no way to have any meaningful playing time since you are only given up to 100 energy and that gets you literally nowhere. The only way to have any meaningful play would be to spend OVER TWENTY DOLLARS PER DAY. PER. FREAKING. DAY. Also if you do manage to gain any rewards and have energy exceeding 100 then you stop accumulating the one single energy point every 2 minutes! That is outrageous. Shame on this developer for making this game so unplayable. And let’s face it- even if you do spend a profoundly stupid amount of real money to be able to play, they way the have the spawn era structured there is little to no chance of spawning the correct items to compete tasks. You could easily burn through thousands of spawns and have absolutely nothing to show for it.

Misleading advertising

I saw this game ad while playing June’s Journey. Normally, I wouldn’t waste my time trusting one id these ads. However, the ad was playable and really fun. It was merging drinks on a shuffle board like screen…very engaging. But unfortunately, the downloaded game is not this at all!!! I played for over 2 hours wondering if I had to reach the next level. However, if you don’t buy energy as an in-app purchase, you don’t have enough to comfortably play the game they tricked you into using. So I don’t see how I’d ever reasonably access the game they baited you with. Very disappointing!!! And I’ve seen the developers response to a huge number of ppl saying the same thing: need to reach other levels. But you could also not bait ppl in with false advertising and just offer the game that people were seeking; they might even be willing to pay for a game they want to play. But I definitely will not pay for the possibility that maybe I’ll eventually get to what I came for in the beginning….no trust left to risk losing your money!

The limited-time tasks of some independent chessboards need to reach a certain level to be unlocked. Please submit the order on the chessboard first, and gain some experience by upgrading buildings to speed up the level increase. After reaching a certain level, you can unlock more game content and participate in more limited-time tasks.
