I have to say I was almost ready to delete this game and I’m glad I didn’t. I pursued, kept trying and caught on to how we are to see things differently in a strategic way. Our brains are conditioned since youth, so to break that conditioning, it’s refreshing & fun to find a unique game such as this to make you aware of how you can get achieve your goal by looking at it differently. It is frustrating at times when I wld get stuck, but it gives you multiple chances to try again by using your points to spin the wheel. There are NO ADS! Which is a GREAT bonus. And when you do try again, it makes you realize how to see differently to get the board cleared. Awesome and unique game! Give it a try. Don’t give up. Keep trying and you’ll be proud of your accomplishment. : )
Hello, and thank you so much for your thoughtful and positive review. We’re really glad to hear that you stuck with it and eventually got into what KOLORI has to offer! When we first came up with the idea of building a game around color mixing inside a grid, we weren’t entirely sure the mechanic alone would be enough to create levels that felt truly challenging. For us, the mixing was the twist that could make the game unique, but in our early tests it didn’t feel like it had enough depth. That’s when we decided to add extra gameplay elements like circles and crosses, while also tweaking the grid generation algorithm to limit the number of “easy” mixing opportunities. The idea was to push players to think more carefully before making a match or a mix. While some levels are designed with just one solution, most are open enough to let you find your own way through, rewarding you with original paths if you spot the right mix or plan a smart move ahead of time. We’re really happy to know this side of the game clicks with you, and that it lets you approach levels differently—even when they might seem too complex at first glance! Thanks so much for giving the game a chance, and we hope it keeps surprising you for a long time to come! And just so you know, we were never going to ruin your experience with aggressive ads. It’s something we dislike in the games we play ourselves, and we wanted to keep players in a positive mood while enjoying KOLORI.
