Authentication Update

To address threats and meet federal security requirements, all customers must switch to a more secure multifactor authentication (MFA) method when logging into your USPTO.gov account. Starting November 1, email is no longer an option to verify your identity.

Our webpage outlines options to enhance your account security. Please note you must configure one of these methods for your account by October 31.

The Patent Center experienced service interruptions due to network issues. Documents submitted via Patent Center on Thursday, November 20 are experiencing longer delays in becoming available in the Patent Center’s Documents & Transactions tab.
